Crochet Baby Blanket Green, Yellow & White Stripes

August 5, 2021 by Robin, Avon Rep and Owner at Imperial Crochet

Today I added a pretty unisex baby blanket to the shop. I made this one with green, yellow, and white stripes. At first I wasn’t thrilled with the color combination but then it grew on me and I love it now.

Handmade crochet baby blanket green, yellow and white.
Available at my Etsy shop, Imperial Crochet

Since I was using gender neutral colors, I gave it a simple striped border. All in all, I’m very happy with the way this one turned out. I think it would make a gorgeous gift or even a nice backdrop for photos with the baby.

It measures a nice size of 32″ x 32″.

I made with Stylecraft Special Double Knit 100% premium acrylic yarn and a 4.5 mm hook.

I used the Snapdragon stitch to create the blanket and for the border I did one round of sc in green, one round of hdc in yellow, one round of hdc in white, and then finished it with a round of sc in green.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Welcome!
