Pretty in Pink Baby Blanket

August 2, 2021 by Robin, Avon Rep and Owner at Imperial Crochet

One of my favorite items in my Etsy shop right now is a pretty pink baby blanket.

I used my favorite stitch, Snapdragon, to complete the body and gave it a beautiful border.

Pretty pink crochet baby blanket.

I might be biased but I think it’s the perfect baby shower gift to welcome a gorgeous little girl. I used a nice cotton blend yarn.

I love making baby blankets even though they aren’t the most cost effective crochet item to sell. You really can’t charge hourly because no one would pay that much for a little blanket but they are what I like to call a “happy” product.

I’m happy making them. And I think it makes people happy to give and receive them.

There’s just something about wrapping a little one in something that has so much love poured into it.

Do you crochet or make other crafts? What’s your favorite thing to create?

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. That is a lovely blanket! It reminds me I want to return to crocheting another granny square blanket (fun portable project) 🙂
