New Crochet Granny Square Throw Blanket at Etsy

September 21, 2017 by Robin, Avon Rep and Owner at Imperial Crochet

It’s been a while but today, I added a new listing to my Imperial Crochet Etsy shop.

It’s the one I was making when I had the leftover yarn to make the headbands that I posted about the other day.

Caron Cakes Granny Square Blanket

Beautiful unicorn rainbow colored yarn. Actually it’s called Mixed Berries from Caron Cakes.

You can view the listing here: Unicorn Rainbow Throw Blanket | Colorful 43″ Granny Square Afghan | Pretty Purple Pink Handmade Crochet

I made it Granny Square style using a US J 6.00mm hook and 3 skeins of the Caron Cakes yarn.  The border is simply a single row of half double crochet stitches and then a row of single crochet stitches.  It measures approximately 43 inches square.

Pretty pink, purple, and aqua Granny Square throw blanket.

I love crocheting large Granny Square throw blankets.  They’re fast, fun, and call me crazy but I find the repetitive stitches relaxing.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek at my newest Etsy listing!

  1. I find repetitive stitches relaxing too. I need that sometimes.

What fantastic colors Robin!! I love endless granny squares. It is such a classic pattern for good reason. I haven’t made one in a long time but I have a few blankets to make for Christmas so thanks for giving me the inspiration to make one of them a granny!! The Caron cakes work really well with this pattern. 😀
